If the world is coming to an end, you need to throw the
biggest bash of the year to end all others. It really won’t take a whole lot of
effort or time to plan one of these parties because most of the people will focus on partying their life away,
literally. The first thing you need to do is figure out your guest list; invite
anyone who has ever helped you, been there for you, laughed with you and of
course partied with you. Put a note in the invitation telling the guests to
think about what they have always wanted to do before they die. You can either
have them come dressed in a way to show what they wanted to do (ex: as an
astronaut if they want to go to the moon). If the world is ending, you might as
well do everything you have ever wanted, right?

Party Decorations
There are many different ways to decorate for this party.
Some consider going with a death theme and decorating the venue like a cemetery
focusing on Halloween Decorations. Some want to make a combination of
Heaven and Hell and then there are those who want to incorporate the Mayan
theme, since the end of the world is based off the Mayan Calendar coming to an
end. If you are going for the Mayan theme, you will definitely want to stick to
Jungle Decorations and the End of the World Party decorations we
offer.
Even though the Mayans didn’t necessarily live in the
typical tropical jungles of Brazil,
but the temples and buildings were surrounded by lush forests. To help your
guests feel as though they have entered a Mayan jungle, decorate the walls with
the Jungle Trees Backdrop and the Jungle Foliage Backdrop. Tape
or pin them up on the wall and you will have an instant jungle vibe in the
venue. Place some real or artificial plants throughout to add a more realistic
effect, but you could also use some of the Tropical Props on top of the
backgrounds. Put up some Green Tissue Festooning all around the room to
add another three dimensional affect without much cost at all.
 In addition to the jungle decorations, make sure to put up
the Party Like There’s No To-Maya! decorations. This includes a yard
sign, which can be placed in your front yard or a flower pot inside, danglers,
a cutout and a peel ‘n place. All of these can be put up in your jungle
room, but the Party Like There’s No To-Maya Peel ‘N Place also makes a
great party favor. Each decoration pictures an ancient Mayan dancing around
with a drink in brightly colored clothing surrounded by Mayan symbols. All of
your guests will love this clever and hilarious themed décor, they won’t want
to stop partying. 
If you plan on having drinks and food, you will want to make
sure to decorate the table(s) as well. Again, this can be very simple and take
little time. All that is needed is a Green Tablecloth to put cover the
table with a Bamboo Tiki Table Torch with Candle or a Jungle Palm
Cascade Centerpiece as the centerpieces. As for the tableware, there is a
small line of Party Like There’s No To-Maya! Tableware: plates, napkins
and even cups. The cups are plastic, so just in case the world doesn’t end they
will have something to take with them to remember what an epic party you threw.

Party Food
Because the Mayans are in current Mexico, the best food to serve at
your End of the World Party would be Mexican! You can have anything from
nachos, chips and salsa, guacamole, rice and beans to tacos, enchiladas,
chimichangas, burritos and empanadas. Mexican food is one of the best ethnic
foods out there, so take advantage of this opportunity to have a Mexican feast.
As for the drinks, dependent on who is at your party, you will most likely want
to invest in a good amount of tequila and beer, but also make sure to have some
good old fashioned jungle juice. To serve the drinks you can use either the
Mayan cups or Party Like There’s No To-Mayan! Test Tube Shots, which
also make great party favors. Tell your guests that this may very well be the
last night to party, and if there is no tomorrow there is no hangover, so drink
up! If some of the guests do not (or can not) drink, make sure to provide some
soda or regular juice for them.

Everyone needs to be in the right state of for this party:
be spontaneous and act how you have always wanted to act before. You have to
make sure all of your guests are talking to people they haven’t talked to
before, they are all dancing with each other and no one is saying “no” to
anything. Have an insane playlist with a wide range of music focusing on the
end of the world: R.E.M. “It’s the End of the World,” Paula Cole “I Don’t Want
to Wait,” Europe “The Final Countdown,” Skeeter Davis “The End of the World,”
Brittney Spears “Till the World Ends,” The Clash “Should I Stay or Should I
Go?,” Journey “Don’t Stop Believing,” Brittney Spears “I Wanna Go,” Usher
“More,” Led Zeppelin “Stairway to Heaven,” NSYNC “Bye Bye Bye,” Boyz II Men
“End of the Road” and Swedish House Mafia "Save the World" are only a couple of options, but you can put on any crazy
song you want to get everyone in the mood.

Party Favors
During the party everyone needs to let loose and have some
fun, because it makes more sense to end the world in a good mood than a bad
one. If they don’t come up dressed as anything, provide them with some great
apparel and accessories. To go along with the decorations, the little ancient
Mayan man appears on a Straw Hat and a Party Horn. There are also

guests to wear. After they have had a couple of drinks, give some of the guests
a Maraca or two to dance around with and make some noise. There is no

on to see December 22 you should have a way to prove that you survived and what
