i got these for a mafia theme party...wasn't sure if they would be more like costume clothing or actual functional suspenders. they are actual suspenders, so i guess you could wear them later if you wanted to

I purchased these for my husband and he really got a kick out of wearing them. He even posed with them and tried them out before party night! He may wear them at other times beside costume dress!
