Hand out a little good fortune with the Red Pocket Money Envelopes. These are an excellent way to give a gift to your friends and love ones for the Chinese New Year, an Asian theme wedding, or an International theme party. The Red Pocket Money Envelopes are red, which is supposed to ward off evil spirits and provide good luck. Each Red Envelope measures three and a half inches wide by six and a half inches tall. The top part of the envelope has the gold embossed Chinese characters with a translation underneath of Best Wishes To You. The gold embossed symbol across the envelope translates to Good Fortune. Chinese New Year January 21, 2012

The theme for our annual June tea is to celebrate Chinese New Year.  All of these items will be used for that.  I've also been researching recipes etc to be as authentic as possible.  The whole pig is doubtful though!
