Election Party Ideas

It’s time for an election themed party! With the election looming around the corner, it’s the perfect time to throw an election party! Whether you are republican or democratic, we have plenty of decorations for you and your guests. If you don’t affiliate with the republicans or democrats, we have party-neutral election party supplies that will perfectly suit your event.

When it comes to election accessories, the Assorted Patriotic Plastic Topper Hats take the cake. These red, white and blue hats fit an adult head size and are made of plastic, featuring a blue and white star cardstock band. Channel your inner Uncle Sam with these festive toppers! Place these hats on a table near the entrance so your guests can grab one right away.

Democratic Beads

After your guests take their hats, scatter some beads on nearby tables and throughout your event. We have blue Democratic Beads and red Republican Beads. These beads are perfect for your election party. There’s no better way to root on your party’s candidate and/or await the results than to do so by wearing these beads with a medallion. Make sure that you and your guests are rocking these beads at the party.

As with the beads, we have some party-specific stickers. We have both Republican and Democrat Peel N Place for your convenience. Republican Peel n Place StickersThe decals can easily be repositioned, but they can also be saved from year to year! These are perfect to stick on any hard, smooth surface around your party. Your guests are going to love these decals at the party. Want a creative way to use these decals? Find an old photo frame and take out the glass. Purchase a simple wire book stand (like these) and place the glass on the stand. Put as few or as many decals as you'd like on the glass. Add a light bulb or string lights behind the glass and you will have illuminated your party's symbol. If you place the glass close to a wall, you can cast a shadow of your mascot for everyone's viewing pleasure.

Want to keep score as the results are rolling in? Print an outline of each state to make your own map, or have a large map printed, and use these stickers to indicate which candidate won a given state. You could even use stickers of your candidate! For a simpler version you can use a piece of poster board, found at your local drug store or office supply store, and write out a list of all the states, then place the sticker next to each state.
