Unfortunately, you can't actually sink your feet into the sand with this Beach Backdrop. It is made of a thin plastic material that is printed to look like real sand. You can attach the Beach Backdrop to your wall with double sided tape or thumb tacks. Or try using the Party Stick Mounting tape to hang this Beach Backdrop up on your wall. This beach scene allows you to create a beach backdrop for your Luau Party, or Pirate Theme party. Hanging this scene up is a cheap and easy way to create a scene for your party. Each section of beach backdrop measures 4 feet tall by 30 feet wide. You can use it just as a plain beach, or add the additional props to transform your room into a Luau Scene, or a Pirate Insta-Theme.

We bought this as an addition to the Blue Sky and Ocean Backdrop...the sand on the other backdrop was darker than this so it didn't blend together all that great, but it's not bad.

The Blue Sky and Ocean Backdrop looked great but being only 4 feet tall we added the extra 4 feet of extra sand to get more height and length. It worked out great for photos.
