Wyoming

Time to wrap up our state by state New Year’s Eve guide with the state of Wyoming. Just because it’s last doesn’t mean there aren't some awesome places to spend New Year’s Eve. Head over Cheyenne for their Ball Drop. This annual event has something for everyone from kids activities - such as games and inflatables - to a live band, dancing, snacks, and drinks for adults. These activities run from 8:00 pm to midnight, at which point you can then enjoy the ball drop and some fireworks at Cheyenne’s First Night! Another option is to head to Yellowstone National Park and spend the night at the Snow Lodge. Here you can enjoy dining at the Mammoth Dining room. Enjoy great food and drinks while you anticipate the end of one year and the start of another. Wyoming provides its residents and guests with plenty to do to ring in the new year - the hardest is part is deciding which event you will go to!

Now that you have read about all of the fun and exciting (not to mention unique) events going on across the United States, all that is left is deciding exactly where you will want to go! One idea is to make a list of your favorite and attempt to get to them all (even if it takes you a couple of years)! You could also make your list around visiting creative item drops from coast to coast. Many cities across the United States do the same to celebrate the new year. Some cities even take it to the next level by dropping an object more related to the town. From Pottsville, Pennsylvania (the home of Yuengling beer) raising a bottle of Yuengling to Plymouth, Wisconsin dropping an 80 pound - you guessed it - wedge of cheese! Wherever you live this list will give you locations that drop items to bring in the new year. So if you want to go out and see something different this year, be sure to check out this list and find the closest (or most interesting) New Year’s Eve drop to you! If you read this list and none of the events appealed to you, check out PartyCheap’s Ultimate New Year’s Eve Party Guide for how to best throw your own party. Overall, no matter what state you live in, you can find something unique and entertaining.

Happy New Year from our family to yours!
